COMPOSITION:
Lasalocid sodium is a type of ionophore antibiotic commonly used in veterinary
medicine as a feed additive for cattle, poultry, and other livestock. It helps to
improve feed efficiency and promote growth by preventing the growth of
harmful bacteria in the animals’ digestive tracts.
DOSAGE:
Lasalocid is approved for continuous use in broilers, replacement pullets,
turkeys, guinea fowl, pheasants, partridges, quail, rabbits, cattle and sheep at
concentrations of 75 to 125 mg/kg of lasalocid sodium in feed as a pre-mix
containing 20% lasalocid sodium.
